Press Release Body: Tel Aviv, Israel, June 26, 2008 -- Step of Mind Ltd (SoM) was selected to present its concept and system for treatment of movement disorders at the Silicom Ventures Summit on June 29th-30th in Tel Aviv, Israel. The developed system, called SoM-ToUR, is based on the chaos theory and is a non-invasive solution that retrains the brain to process motor commands in a chaotic manner. The system is comprised of a specially designed shoe and proprietary software. The Summit will take place at David Intercontinental Hotel in Tel Aviv. This event will focus on opportunities in early stage technology investments and is timed for Israel\'s 60th anniversary. The presentation will be made by SoM\'s scientific director, Dr. Simona Bar-Haim. SoM will also have a booth at the exhibition. Step of Mind Ltd (www.stepofmind.com) develops technologies based on practical applications of Chaos Theory in medical and rehabilitation fields. The company aims to facilitate rehabilitation of persons with movement disorders (paraplegia resulted from stroke or brain trauma, cerebral palsy), prevent deterioration of motor skills in the elderly, reduce muscle pain, and enhance performance in sports and leisure activities. SoM is led by a talented team of professionals with extensive backgrounds in neurophysiology, rehabilitation, motor dysfunctions, medical devices and business development. Recently, CNN aired a story about a Palestinian child with Cerebral Palsy who participates in a multi center study using SOM\'s method and approach. In an exclusive CNN video news item 11 year-old Abdul Karim of Nablus demonstrates an amazing improvement using SOM\'s method and approach. SoM further develops methodologies and systems based on the chaos theory to improve motor capabilities of elderly fallers and athletes. \"A future market -- elderly fallers -- presents an additional huge market opportunity, with an estimated market size in the U.S. and EU of 28 million,\" said Jacob Witkowski, CEO of Step of Mind.
